We have carried out a detailed analysis of the 4d10 1S0-4d9 (np + nf)
J = 1 resonance transitions of the Pd I like spectra from Cd III to Cs
x. A total of 130 lines have been classified, 99 of them for the firs
t time as belonging to the 4d9 (np + n'f) J = 1 levels for n = 5-7, n'
= 4-9. Some earlier identifications of Sb VI, Te VII and I VIII have
been revised. Ionization potentials have been calculated for all spect
ra limiting on the 4d9 2D5/2 of the next ion.
