Gw. Darling et G. Wegner, SPECTRAL TYPES FOR OBJECTS IN THE KISO SURVEY .9. DATA FOR 121 OBJECTS, The Astronomical journal, 108(6), 1994, pp. 2025-2030
Spectral types for 121 objects originally found in the Kiso Schmidt ul
traviolet excess survey are reported. The observations were made at th
e Michigan-Dartmouth-MIT Observatory on Kitt Peak with the Mark III sp
ectrograph and CCD detectors attached to the 2.4 m Hiltner and 1.3 m M
cGraw-Hill telescopes during 1992 and 1993. The original spectra cover
approximately the lambda lambda 4500-8200 spectral range at 7 Angstro
m resolution. Interesting objects reported include: 31 subdwarfs, 7 DA
and 3 DQ white dwarfs, and 37 QSO and emission line objects. Two prev
iously observed objects have been reclassified based on new spectra wi
th better signal to noise ratio. Some of the more peculiar objects are
described in the text. A search through the literature has revealed t
he spectral identification of an additional 79 KW objects, which bring
s the total of KUV objects identified to 959.
