Abstract
Three novel azaphilone derivatives, daldinins A similar to C, have bee n isolated from the fungus (Ascomycetes) Daldinia concentrica. Their s tructures including the absolute configuration have been established b y a combination of high resolution NMR and CD spectra, X-ray crystallo graphic analysis, and chemical degradation.
