Abstract
An indirect, sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for th e detection of antigens of vesicular exanthema, San Miguel sea lion vi ruses and other marine caliciviruses is described. The assay which use s rabbit and guinea-pig antisera to purified antigens of each calicivi rus serotype has high sensitivity and is almost totally type-specific.
