THE TPX CONFIGURATION

The TPX configuration has progressed since the March, 1993 Conceptual Design Review (CDR). Changes have been made to enhance operating perfo rmance and improve engineering design margins. Clearances have been ad ded to subsystem envelopes to increase fabrication space and expand as sembly tolerances; design modifications have been adopted to meet chan ges in physics requirements and to enhance maintenance features. Confi guration details of magnet leads and services have been added and majo r subsystem clearance requirements for assembly/disassembly have been revisited.
