Abstract
The implosion experiment of spherical pellet and the physics investiga tion which is relevant to implosion process have been performed by usi ng GEKKO XII glass laser since its commission in 1983. Simulation code s have been reinforced by introducing the experimental results and phy sics model to increase the credibility and quantitative accuracy in pr edicting the ignition and burn conditions. The fusion ignition and bur n to achieve energy gain for reactor seems to be feasible.
