Ma. Gonzalez et al., DYNAMIC CORRELATIONS IN LIQUID AND GLASSY SELENIUM - SEARCH FOR INTERMEDIATE SCALES, Journal of non-crystalline solids, 207, 1996, pp. 485-489
The analysis of the structure and dynamics of liquid and glassy seleni
um points to the existence of an intermediate length-scale which can a
ccount for most of the properties of liquid and amorphous selenium. Fr
om this coarse-grained description the method of Langevin dynamics is
applied to increase the spatial and time windows. This approach permit
s the properties of the disordered phases of selenium to be studied ov
er wider scales.
