Abstract
Pelargonium curviandrum E.M. Marais and P. triandrum E.M. Marais are d escribed as new species. Both are tuberous species, belonging to the s ection Hoarea (Sweet) DC. They correspond in respect to their leaf str ucture, the colour and shape of the petals and the markings on the pos terior petals. Both species have long protruding stamens which are cur ved upwards during anthesis. A description of the pollen morphology an d the leaf anatomy, a distribution map, as well as an illustration of each species, are provided together with a discussion of their relatio nships within section Hoarea.
