Abstract
The temperature effect on the performance of gas phase bioreactions (b atch and continuous) was investigated using immobilized alcohol oxidas e on Amberlite IRA-400. Reaction rates and product (acetaldehyde) comp ositions were compared as functions of temperature; there is a reactio n temperature corresponding to a trade-off point between reaction rate and reaction extent.
