Abstract
The authors describe unusual magnetic resonance findings due to carbon monoxide poisoning in a 34-year-old woman. With T-2-weighted imaging, increased signal intensity was observed bilaterally in the putamen an d the caudate nucleus. Lesions of high signal intensity in the globus pallidus, which have been previously reported, were also observed.
