Abstract
Forty-eight patients with recurrent abdominal pain were studied endosc opically for the presence of gastritis and Helicobacter pylori infecti on. Fifteen of these children had histological evidence of gastritis w ith eight of them having concomitant H. pylori infection. The majority of those with H. pylori infection had severe degrees of acute followi ng chronic gastritis.
