Abstract
Cervical-spine injury may occur in elderly patients with a history of minor trauma. We present the case of a patient who suffered a patholog ic cervical-spine fracture as the initial presentation of multiple mye loma. A review of the medical conditions that predispose the elderly t o cervical-spine fracture in the absence of major trauma is presented.
