Abstract
Nine weaned piglets were allocated to one of three experimental groups to determine the effect of different daily zinc intake (22.88, 49.7 a nd 74.5 mg). Three piglets were slaughtered after each of balance peri od. There was no significant difference in zinc content in the tissues . Zinc digestibility (23.16, 17.75 and 40.12%) and zinc absorption (20 .01, 16.40 and 39.55%) were significantly different. Zinc content in t he bristles was not affected by treatment. Zinc content in liver was l ower in the group with deficient daily zinc intake. On the basis of ou r results the following dependence was calculated: y = -19.29 + 27.69x (y = zinc content in the body in mg, x = live weight in kg, I(deter.) = 97.00).
