Abstract
Experimental results for isothermal Newtonian flow through metallic fo ams are analysed in comparison with a theoretical model and the result s interpreted. In both the Darcy and non-Darcy regimes the results sho w promise for the accurate theoretical prediction of fluid dynamic phe nomena in foamlike porous materials of very high porosity.
