Abstract
In this case report we describe a successful embolectomy of a partiall y migrated Bird's Nest Caval Filter with attached embolic material. We used transesophageal echocardiography to guide the surgical approach. The patient recovered uneventfully from both the embolectomy and the subsequent pelvic operation.
