Abstract
The author gives an overall view of the up-to-date state of the couple d instabilities theory in the light of extensive recent developments i n the research. The introductory review of the principal aspects, phen omenon, theory and methods, is followed by application to structural e lements and structures. The second part refers to payers presented at the conference. The bibliography contains over 230 papers.
