Abstract
henyl-3-nitroso-4-amino-1,8-naphthyridin-2(1H)-one (9) was prepared on a large scale and was converted to 5-phenylimidazo[4,5-c] [1,8]naphth yridin-4(5H)-one (KF17625, 1) which exhibits potent antiasthmatic acti vity.
