Vs. Sirazetdinov et Ad. Starikov, PHYSICAL MODELING OF DIRECTIONAL ENERGY-TRANSPORT OF LASER-RADIATION, Journal of optical technology, 61(11), 1994, pp. 797-800
This paper presents a technique for modeling extended (tens of kilomet
ers or more in length) optically homogeneous paths under laboratory co
nditions and gives the results of modeling experiments on the determin
ation of the energy-exchange efficiency between distant radiating aper
tures, using a phase-conjugation-self-aiming algorithm. It is shown to
be possible to optimize the energy-exchange process at the expense of
the appearance of diffraction effects.
