Abstract
The plastic deformation of binary alloys Al-3.8, 7.0, 10.4 at.% Li is studied on constant-rate tension at temperatures to 0.5 K. The tempera ture dependences of the plasticity parameters are investigated. The lo w-temperature features of these dependences are found and their nature is discussed. The influence of deformation, temperature and the super conducting transition on the serrated flow of these alloys is studied at 4.2-0.5 K. The experimental results are qualitatively compared with current theories of thermomechanical deformation instability.
