PAULI BLOCKING IN THE BCS APPROXIMATION FOR SPHERICAL NUCLEI

Pauli-blocking corrections and renormalization of single-particle ener gies in the sea approximation ace estimated in spherical nuclei. It is found that these effects, which are always neglected, may produce non -negligible corrections. This can be important for calculations where high precision is required.
