Abstract
The paper presents experimental results on condensation heat transfer enhancement in the presence of an electric field and a study of the st ate of equilibrium of a two-phase system with various shapes of interf ace. It has been shown experimentally that enhancement of the condensa tion process in an electric field is caused by interface deformation a nd by the associated effect of phase equilibrium displacement, which i n the case of interface deformation is the driving force of capillary processes; the considered cooling effect has been used as an example.
