The controlled influence of various deliberately introduced specific a
mbients on the rate of cathodic deposition and anodic ionization of ca
dmium at the low-resistivity n-type CdSe electrodes in CdSO4 and Na2SO
4 (0.5 M) electrolytes has been experimentally studied. The conditions
that facilitate metal deposition on the semiconductor under induced c
onvection of solution have been determined.
