Abstract
This paper presents a novel approach to analyze stability robustness o f controls in power systems over a range of operating conditions. The controls considered include exciters, power system stabilizers, and go vernors. The analytical basis for the approach is presented. The robus tness framework for power systems is formulated. Numerical results for a sample test system are obtained and compared with those obtained by conventional techniques.
