Abstract
Optical absorption and emission F bands in KCl((1-x))Br-x mixed crysta ls has been obtained experimentally and theoretical for different mola r compositions x. The semicontinuum model of the F center was used for theoretical calculations. A good agreement between experimental and t heoretical results was found.
