Abstract
Ts technical noteTE describes how to select the appropriate fluorescen t dyes (fluorochromes) to use with the FluorImager(TM) fluorescence im aging system (Molecular Dynamics, Sunnyvale, CA). It also describes th e effects of optical filtration and how filters can be used to reduce background in single-channel scans.
