Abstract
The free vibrations of simply-supported cross-ply cylindrical and doub ly-curved laminates are investigated. The three-dimensional equations of motion, expressed in terms of displacements, are reduced to a syste m of coupled ordinary differential equations, which are then solved us ing the power series method. Numerical results are presented for cylin drical, spherical and saddle-shape laminates having a various number o f layers.
