Primary antiphospholipid syndrome is characterized by venous and arter
ial thrombosis, fetal loss, or thrombocytopenia in association with an
tiphospholipid antibodies and no associated disease process. The autho
rs report a case of lower extremity thrombosis in a 12 year old who ha
d primary antiphospholipid syndrome. To our knowledge, this is the fir
st report of peripheral arterial thrombosis in primary antiphospholipi
d syndrome in the pediatric population.
