Abstract
Although many studies take into account the variable cr weight,, of wi ld primates, it appears from the literature that few body weight data have been collected for Cercopithecidae. This study provides body weig ht data for 871 Cercopithecidae weighted on game markets in the Kisang ani (Zaire) and N'Gotto (Central African Republic) regions in the Zair e/Congo Basin. For the best represented species, the results allow to identify a cr standard,, mean weight for a given population and, among well represented polytypic species, a first comparison at subspecies level.
