Abstract
A three-dimensional vector propagation model for indoor microcellular communications, based on ray optics and diffraction theory, is present ed. The model includes all possible propagation paths, i.e. ceiling, f loor and wall reflections, corner diffractions and subsequent scatteri ng events. Comparison with path loss measurements made in a corridor c omplex shows good general agreement.
