New natural single phase unidirectional transducer (NSPUDT) orientatio
ns on a lithium tetraborate (Li2B4O7) substrate are reported. The orie
ntations of the Euler angles (0 degrees, 18 degrees, 90 degrees) and (
0 degrees, 51 degrees, 90 degrees) give an optimum phasing (+/-45 degr
ees) between the transduction and reflection centres for an ideal NSPU
DT action. The (0 degrees, 78 degrees, 90 degrees) cut with zero tempe
rature coefficient of delay (TCD) gives an NSPUDT with high directivit
y.
