Abstract
Results on antisymmetric wedge acoustic wave propagation in magnetostr ictive ferrite are presented. The propagation velocity can be varied b y changing the applied magnetic field. The strong dependence of the fu ndamental mode velocity on the magnetic field demonstrates the applica bility of wedge waves in magnetostrictive ferrites for variable delay lines.
