Abstract
Two different formalisms have been recently developed for nonextensive physics, namely the generalized statistical mechanics and thermodynam ics (characterized by q not equal 1) and the quantum groups (character ized by q(G) not equal 1). Through the discussion of the mean values o f observables, we propose a (temperature dependent) connection between q and g(G), and illustrate with bosonic oscillators.
