Abstract
An evolution system, which extends the Cahn-Hilliard model to non-isot hermal situations subject to convex constraints for solutions, is stud ied. The problem can be considered as representing a simple model of n on-isothermal phase separation driven by diffusive mechanisms. A varia tional formulation of the problem is introduced, using t-dependent sub differential operator techniques in Hilbert spaces. Existence and uniq ueness of weak solutions are proved.
