CHILDHOOD BULLOUS PEMPHIGOID

Introduction. Bullous pemphigoid is rare during the childhood. The aut hors report the 51th case. Case report. Jeremie, a seven-month-old bab y, had atypical bullous lesions. Histological examination, direct and indirect immunofluorescence were in favor of bullous pemphigoid. Comme nts. Clinical and biological features of bullous pemphigoid are simila r in the adult and in the infant. First treatment is represented by co rticosteroids. Evolution is generally very good.
