Abstract
We are studying the natural convection flows near a non-isotherm verti cal wall in a small cavity with a Rayleigh number varying between 10(7 ) and 4.10(8). Our study is experimental and theoretical. Our simplifi ed modelization is in good agreement with our experimental results. We suggest a new calculation method for the parietal density flow when t he thermal curves are a maximum. A different performance of the natura l convection is experimentaly shown when the difference of temperature between shells is various.
