Abstract
A case with histological evidence of malignancy developed in a branchi al cleft cyst (BCC), which conforms with the criteria for primary bran chiogenic carcinoma (PBC) was analyzed by electron microscopy and immu nchistochemistry; our findings reveal peculiar analogies between PBC a nd BBC, further supporting the primitive nature of the lesion.
