Abstract
The efficiency of seven functional monomers toward radiation vulcaniza tion of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) were following the order: Terta methylol methane tetraacrylate (ATMMT) = Toluene diisocyanate (UA306T) > Trimethylol propane trimethacrylate (TMPT) > Diethylene gly col dim ethacrylate (2G) > Dipentaerthritol hexaacrylate (DPEGA) > Hexamethyle ne diisocyanate (UA101H) > Triallyl cyanurate (TAG). Also, it was foun d that low absorption of ATMMT has been overcome at low dose. The obse rved clear and transparent sheets indicate that the reaction was compl ete.
