Abstract
The optical properties of Rhodamine 6G doped silica-titania glassy thi n films deposited onto soda-lime glass substrates, have been studied b y changing the relative concentrations of SiO2 and TiO2. The guided li ght propagation properties of the films in the planar waveguide config uration have been investigated at lambda = 632.8 nm, by means of a sin gle prism geometry.
