Sy. Tsai, ON PARAMETRIZATION AND APPROXIMATION RELEVANT TO DESCRIBE VIOLATION OF CP-SYMMETRY, T-SYMMETRY AND CPT-SYMMETRY IN THE NEUTRAL KAON SYSTEM, Modern physics letters A, 11(37), 1996, pp. 2941-2951
We introduce several sets of parameters, which are rephasing-invariant
and possess were defined properties, to describe violation of CP, T a
nd CPT symmetries in the K-0-(K) over bar(0) system. It is pointed out
that those parameters which signal T and CPT violations but not CP vi
olation are not well constrained experimentally yet. We further introd
uce a set of rephasing-dependent (= phase-convention-dependent) parame
ters and investigate how they are related to our rephasing-invariant (
= phase-convention-independent) parameters. In this way, advantages an
d disadvantages of and relations among various parametrizations are st
ated clearly.
