Abstract
Energetic dependence of bubble damage neutron detectors, manufactured by Bubble Technology Industries Inc. (Canada), was studied. The detect ors were exposed in neutron fields derived from a Cf-252 source as wel l as those from behind the shielding of the phasotron of the Joint Ins titute of Nuclear Research at Dubna, Russia. BD-100R detectors with tw o different nominal sensitivities were tested. It was discovered that their response probably does not depend on a neutron energy between 0. 1 and about 20 MeV. It seems, however, that their sensitivity to highe r energy neutrons is reduced.
