Abstract
Pronounced stimulation of antigen-independent differentiation of T lym phocytes is found. Physical toads and immobilization stress are shown to considerably augment both the immigration of T lymphocyte precursor s to the thymus and the emigration of differentiated lymphocytes, as w ell as to affect the rate of cell differentiation.
