Abstract
We compared the effects of intravenous administration of the calcium-d ependent hypertensive factor from the plasma of patients with essentia l hypertension and of a synthetic heptapeptide with hypertensive activ ity. Both substances prove to induce prolonged and pronounced elevatio n of arterial blood pressure.
