Os. Gladysheva et al., COMPARATIVE-STUDY OF TRANSPORT OF EXOGENOUS RADIOACTIVE HISTONE ADMINISTERED BY VARIOUS ROUTES, Bulletin of experimental biology and medicine, 117(5), 1994, pp. 480-483
Accumulation of radioactive label in olfactory bulbs is found to outst
rip the label content in the blood of animals to which histone is admi
nistered intranasally. The concentration of the label in the blood is
highest after intraperitoneal injection, but shortly afterwards radioa
ctive histone is detected in the brain as well.
