Abstract
In vitro experiments simulating collagen-induced thrombogenesis in art eries damaged during angioplasty demonstrate a marked inhibitory effec t of surface-bound urokinase. In contrast to free urokinase, bound enz yme is more effective in preventing platelet aggregation on the collag en surface.
