ON THE ITERATIVE METHOD FOR VARIATIONAL-INEQUALITIES WITH NONSMOOTH UNBOUNDED OPERATORS IN BANACH-SPACE

This paper continues the series of investigations of the authors conce rning approximate methods for solving variational inequalities with no nsmooth and unbounded operators in Banach spaces. Our previous works w ere devoted to penalty and regularization methods and contained conver gence and stability results. Here we prove convergence theorems for it erative processes and establish asymptotic estimates of their converge nce rate. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
