Abstract
The paper suggests a technology for oil displacement by surfactant sol utions, preceded by plugging of high water-cut bed intervals. Laborato ry studies offered the recipes for settling compositions based on low- cost and broadly available metal salts and carbamide. The efficiency o f this surfactant/settling-agent injection technology has been proven in Noyabrsk region oilfields.
