Abstract
Doppler estimation accuracy for current profiling is discussed, with c omparison with the Cramer-Rao bound (CRB). The apparent decrease in es timation accuracy at low SNR is introduced by the estimate equivocatio n, due to noise structure and not accounted by the CRB. The actual err or is assessed by analysis and simulations.
