Abstract
The recovery and concentration of diacetyl from aqueous solutions by p ervaporation was studied with a PDMS-PC membrane at 33 degrees C. Flux decreased with partial pressure and increased with temperature and co ncentration of diacetyl. Selectivity values greater than 30 were obtai ned. Whey permeate components had no effect on pervaporation parameter s.
