Abstract
A study is performed of the effect of chorionic gonadotropin on Lipid peroxidation in the liver and myocardium of white rats injected subcut aneously with tetrachloromethane for a long time. Chorionic gonadotrop in is shown to reduce the content of diene conjugates and Schiff bases , which suggests an antioxidant effect of the hormone.
