Abstract
In the paper an Adaptive Filter with PEriodic Gain (AFPEG) is presente d, which is applicable to Discrete-time Linear Periodic Systems (DLPS) and nonlinear systems with a periodic nominal trajectory. Its converg ence properties subject to the DLPS are proved. Compared to convention al adaptive filtering algorithms, the AFPEG reduces on-line computatio n with limited storage requirements. The AFPEG is applied to an autono mous satellite navigation system. Simulation results demonstrate its e ffectiveness in improving the accuracy of navigation.
